Meet Our Visioneer
The woman who carries the vision
Every movement begins with someone who sees what others have stopped looking for. For ValorCTNet, that person is Mrs. Christie Dasaro.
Where others see a struggling community, the vision she carries sees potential waiting for opportunity. As the Visioneer of Valor Community Transformational Network, she carries a simple but demanding conviction: that every individual and every community can thrive when given the right opportunities, guidance and support.
That conviction is the heartbeat of ValorCTNet. It is why the network exists to empower communities through skills acquisition, vocational training and spiritual discipleship, not as separate efforts, but as one holistic approach to the body, the mind and the spirit.
Meeting needs, building futures
The work has taken many forms. ValorCTNet has drilled boreholes to bring clean, safe water to places where it was hard to find. It has shared food with internally displaced persons and families facing hunger. It has trained, mentored and discipled youth and adults, helping them discover skills, livelihoods and renewed purpose.
Behind each of these is the same goal: communities that are self-reliant, informed, and able to stand on their own.
We believe that transformation is more than charity. It means touching lives, restoring hope, and changing communities.
The ValorCTNet convictionFrom a conversation to a movement
In August 2026, she stood before educators, school leaders and policymakers at ECWA Headquarters in Jos to open Education Next 2026, setting the tone for two days of learning, reflection, innovation and collaboration. The next day, she led the session on AI & Ethical Use, pushing the room past "What can AI do?" to the harder questions: "How should we use it?" and "When should we not use it?"
But the conversation didn't end there. Out of the conference came Wisdom Centres, a monthly gathering on the first Saturday of every month, so that people keep learning how to use technology wisely. The first session held on 3rd October 2026. It was only the beginning.
We Are Called
More than charity.
We believe that transformation is more than charity. It means touching lives, restoring hope, and changing communities.
